Our aluminum-free roll-on deodorant based on milk of magnesia (MoM) is effective and gentle. This easy-to-use version for men has a pleasant herbal fragrance.
Product Description
We originally developed People’s Pharmacy aluminum-free roll-on deodorant using milk of magnesia (MoM) as its active ingredient based on testimonials from readers. They told us that milk of magnesia is great at warding off underarm odor without irritating delicate skin. Our roll-on formulation is convenient and easy to use.
The initial formula was unscented, and that is still a very popular product. But customers requested products with fragrance. This roll-on deodorant has an appealing herbal aroma that is appropriate for use by men (although some women might like it, too). Like all of our roll-on deodorants, Men’s MoM Aluminum-Free Roll-on Deodorant has no aluminum in it at all. The 2-ounce size is small enough to tuck into a gym bag and meets TSA regulations for carry-on luggage.

5I have been using MOM deodorant for two or three years and am highly pleased with it. It is as good as any deodorant I have used to control wetness and odor, and the great thing about it is that it contains no Aluminum Products. I have used both the unscented and the men’s scented and have settled on the latter for my needs. Also, I have recommended this to a couple of friends, and they are highly pleased also.

5I have been using the MoM deodorant for two or more years now and have even given it as gifts to some family members. I have been, and am, concerned about the aluminum and other potentially dangerous ingredients in deodorants I have used over the years and searched for a safe alternative for a long time. In the MoM deodorant I have finally found, I think, a safe and effective deodorant. I would highly recommend it to anyone with the same concerns.
Over the years I tried numerous deodorants that used ingredients other than aluminum but I found that none of them was effective enough for me until I discovered this deodorant.
I would like, however, for the People’s Pharmacy to start making available a largest size in the men’s deodorant.

5This has been the best deodorant I’ve ever used. My underarms are sensitive to regular deodorants and are easily irritated by them. Since I started using MoM several years ago I haven’t had any problems. I really like the men’s scented, but wish it came in the 3.3oz. like the non-scented. I usually buy two at a time.

2This deodorant is great when I can get it to apply. Every time I start a new one it requires a few weeks before the roller ball actually works. The roller ball needs design/fabrication attention.

I didn’t look closely as I’ve had precious purchases but it is now scented. Not sure why a company would change the label to blue for their unscented. I much prefer unscented…but bottom line is…it works.

5I received the men’s MOM about a month ago. This is my first purchase of roll on MOM. I am very pleased with the product. It is what I expected. Using this bottle surely beats pouring milk of magnesia out of a bottle onto my hands and spreading it under my arms, which I had been doing for a number of years.

5I was pleasantly surprised at how well this product works. I am a menopausal woman and can sweat a great deal during the day. This deodorant works very well. I had done away with roll-ons years ago and it takes a little bit to get used to it again but, all in all, a good product. I thought I had purchased the unscented one to start with and it came with a fragrance but it is fine and the fragrance doesn’t irritate me, thank goodness! I wish now that I had ordered a bigger bottle, lol! Try it!

5We recently bought the MoM’s deodorant trial sample pack for men, women and one that was scented. My husband said his worked fine. I have never been able to use the regular or over the counter hypoallergenic deodorants : this is the first one that causes absolutely no irritation at all. We are delighted and would highly recommend it. The scented variety also works fine, but does not have a pleasant scent, so we will re-order the unscented ones.

4I like the unscented version of this deodorant better than the men’s herbal version, which I find overwhelming. Both are very effective. A little pricey, but a bottle lasts me about 4-5 months.

3It’s okay but it takes quite a while for it to dry after application. Also, even the unscented has a slight fragrance to it. Not a bad fragrance but I was expecting none. The Men’s fragrance is a little too strong for me. Not sure how well it is actually preventing odor, since I often smell an odor at the end of a day. I haven’t had a day with strenuous exercise or movement to give it a good test yet. I like the no aluminum aspect but its quite expensive. Not sure I will reorder though I might.

5It’s a good product, but it takes a while for the stickiness to dry up. And, if for whatever reason, I skip an evening shower, when I apply Mom’s again the next morning it just builds up. So I make sure I take a quick shower to ensure I get Mom’s off.

3MoM works great once applied. However, the applicator (bottle) doesn’t work all that great. It’s hard to get the product to begin dispensing; you have to tilt the bottle just so and press pretty hard. Other than that it works at least as well as my old “crystal” alum product.

5Being concerned with the whole aluminum in anti-perspirants issue, I started looking into alternatives. I tried the enzyme products but they were quite the sticky mess. Then I found Men’s MOM and am very satisfied with how it works. Nice subtle manly scent and really does stop the pit smell! Good product.
