Our People’s Pharmacy Aluminum-Free Magnesium-Rich Roll-on Deodorant is unscented and has absolutely no irritating aluminum in it. It is a very popular product, and the 2-ounce size fits easily into a handbag or gym bag and is TSA-compliant for carry-on luggage.
There are times, though, when it would be nice to have a roll-on deodorant that lasts a bit longer. We are pleased to offer this economy size product containing 3.38 ounces of unscented milk of magnesia-based deodorant, the identical formula as the smaller size. But although it has 69% more deodorant, it doesn’t cost 69% more. Instead, you realize a saving of 8% by purchasing the economy size roll-on.

5Wow! Is this product awesome! Somewhere it was mentioned that MOM was both antibacterial and antifungal. After a 10-hour car trip I had an outbreak of jock itch. Hadn’t had it in years but previously needed Rx Chlortrimazole to cure it. Not having any, I figured what the heck and rolled on some MOM. Knocked out the jock itch in one application, and it hasn’t come back! Makes for a great deodorant too!

4A few years ago all deodorant started irritating my under arms so much I had to stop using any. I tried Arm & Hammer and also the Crystal. They didn’t either one help. One day I saw The Peoples Pharmacy add for their deodorant and decided to try it. I has been working for me with no irritation for about six or seven years. I will keep using it as long as I can afford it. It is kind of pricey. For that reason, only four stars. Otherwise five stars.

5I’ve been using this deodorant for several years. Initially I was concerned that it wouldn’t be strong enough to block the odor from bacteria I picked up in the tropics – no, seriously, I came home from a trip to the South Pacific stinking in a new, distressing way, and a doctor told me I was inhabited with some bacteria that would just live on me forever. Blessings to MOM; the doc was wrong. That smell went away and has never come back.

3I really, really, really like this deodorant, but am really disappointed that the bottle does not last longer. I ordered the large 3.38 oz size and received it the first week of May. The bottle sounds like it is going to be empty within the next two weeks (mid-June). Sometimes I use it twice a day because of exercising, but it still is just too much money for how long it lasts.
I have no issue with price because of what it may cost to manufacture and distribute in the early life of a product, but for some of us, it just isn’t affordable. I bought a second one to give as a gift, but will now keep it instead of getting someone excited about a product they probably won’t want to afford.
Again, great product. I hope distribution and volume grow.

5This product is amazing. I purchased a bottle a few months ago for a bad rash under my breast. It cleared the rash in just a couple of days. I have found a new use for MOM. If you suffer from gout, you know the pain associated with it. I had a breakout recently on my left foot even tho I take medicine daily for it. The breakout included the toes on my left foot and ankle. I could barely walk not to mention the burning pain in my toes and ankle. I remembered the bottle of MOM has magnesium in it and magnesium is good for gout. The best part about MOM is it is absorbed into the skin because it is a deodorant. I rubbed MOM over my left foot, including the toes and ankle. I can’t tell you how quick it worked at stopping the gout breakout. Within a couple minutes the burning pain was gone from my left foot. If you suffer from gout this product is a fast amazing relief from a breakout. I ordered a new bottle of MOM to keep in case of another gout attack.

1I love this product and have ordered several bottles. However the last bottle was defective…the roller ball would not roll without forcing it. When I contacted the People’s Pharmacy Terry Graedon responded to me but DID NOT OFFER A REPLACEMENT. I was surprised since I have purchased other products from them. Now I buy one of several non-aluminum brands that Whole Foods has available. Very disappointed.

5I started using this about a year ago and wanted to give it a while, to see how well it worked for me, prior to submitting my review.
I love this product. It works great for me. Yes, I do get wet sometimes under my arms, but it doesn’t bother me, and I do not smell. I had purchased a small bottle for myself (last year) and then I asked for 2 large bottles, last Christmas.
My large has lasted me at least five months and I have a little left! So, this does go a long way.
The ball works great for me and I have no issues applying this product.
I like the fragrance free and have been very happy with this product. THANK YOU, People’s Pharmacy, for putting out a natural product without all those horrible chemicals. I will be a repeat customer and I have tried to spread the word about your wonderful MOM deodorant.

5Perhaps a 3-For sale will present again soon. I ordered that way last fall and used 2 of the 3 as Christmas fillers. That left me with one.
I too would say if you are not crazy about MOM your first week just hang in there. It bothered me to not feel dry but I no longer notice this since my brain does not equate dampness with order any longer. Also in the beginning I got mixed results. Some days there was minor order. Somehow and for a long time now there has been no odor.
So much more convenient than trying to dispense from a big blue bottle of pharmacy milk of magnesia which yes, is cheaper but messy to apply and definitely leaves residue.

5I recently received my order of MoM unscented deodorant in the mail. I have a history of having bad body odor and I’ve tried various traditional aluminum based deodorants, natural remedies (including witch hazel, essential oils and baking soda) and nothing worked. I was at my wits end and I figured I would have to live with my bad underarm odor for the rest of my life. I applied MoM deodorant this morning, putting a few strokes of the product on my underarms and then rubbed it into my skin and I can say for the first time in years I have no odor after a long day. 5I’ve suffered from underarm odor for years – washing and reapplying twice a day to stay fresh, being embarrassed when out in the heat, and knowing there was nothing I could do about it, etc. Until NOW! I researched about applying rubbing alcohol, but it didn’t take away my odor. Now I apply rubbing alcohol, let it dry, and then apply MOM Deodorant. I am Thrilled to say that this works! It’s given me the Freedom to live my life odor-free!

5I LOVE this product. If you have tried it and did not find it satisfactory, let me suggest for dryness, use an antiperspirant 3 nights a week, then use MOM in the AM EVERY morning. It WILL NOT dry immediately. So dry your hair, comb your hair, put your first layer of make-up on or shave with your arms up. It WILL dry. Don’t Be In Such a HURRY. CHILL. Then, sprinkle a bit of Shower to Shower under your arms, smile at yourself and have a happy day.

2I keep trying to use this deoderant but I don’t like it. It does nothing to control wetness (and it doesn’t claim to, but I just don’t like having damp armpits) but it is VERY wet, takes a long time to dry unless you get out a fan or your blow dryer AND by the end of the day you ARE going to have underarm odor. If I smell armpits at the end of the day there will be odor. I use the unscented variety so maybe that’s because there’s no “masking” scent. I am going to try some other aluminum free options and would appreciate any suggestions.

5This is an effective and gentle deodorant. I have not had any irritation from it and it does the job! Some other commercial deodorants weren’t as effective and would sometimes irritate my skin. I stopped using commercial anti-perspirants long ago because of the sticky mess then the aluminum issue. In spite of the cost and shipping cost I’m not going back! This is my go-to deodorant from now on!

5Excellent product. Great protection. Works even better than I expected switching from a traditional name-brand solid from the deodorant aisle. It’s a roll-on, so I had to learn to allow a bit of drying time, but that’s the only difference. For anyone not quite sure, it’s worth giving a big bottle a try. I wasn’t enamored the first week. 5I was mildly surprised with the new larger size. The roller seemed to be stuck when I first tried to roll the contents on my underarms. I tried to get the ball to move with my finger and it loosened up and then worked just fine. The contents seems to be just the same as the older package but will last longer before I have to go the next container. I’ve used the MOM for several years and as far as I know there is none better.

5I bought this for my 9 year old autistic son. I try to stay away from items with lots of chemicals. I had tried the Tom’s of Maine, but was still noticing some odor and wetness. He now uses the MOM at night after his bath or shower and the Tom’s in the morning. He went to a roller skating party and was super sweaty but his arm pits were dry and there was no odor. Very happy with it.

5I’ve used it a few months now and really am impressed that I am odor free. Also I feel like I am giving myself a little helpful dose of Mg. and no harmful aluminum. If I am not careful to let it dry, it does get on clothes that I pull over my head, but it wipes off with a damp washcloth.

5I tried this product for the first time after reading many positive reviews. Have not had a liquid roll-on in many years. This is pleasant, odorless, dries quickly, is not sticky, and really does the job. It is incredibly effective. I am so surprised because I had gone back to the aluminum type when I was in “heavy perspiration” situations. Now I can just stay with one deodorant knowing it will work- with no aluminum or perfume. I am glad I took the risk and bought two large deodorants to start with. To me it is worth it to buy from this website. In the future I will buy in multiples to make it more economical. 5New user. Was very happy with my existing stick antiperspirant/deodorant but the aluminum exposure issue made me try a “mere” deodorant (aluminum free/easy to find) of the same brand. It just didn’t do the job. Ordered this product, and have used in for a month or so and can testify to its complete effectiveness. It is a liquid (not paste) roll-on. Haven’t noticed any dripping from the container. Seems like it (the economy larger size) will last quite a while (hope so). Great product.

It’s wonderfully effective (will definitely buy again) but…when I shake it, its runniness is apparent, as it comes out around the roller ball and gets on the inside of the lid. I agree with the reviewer about shipping costs. Surely these could be less for such a small package? How about a small bubble-wrap envelope?

5I liked MoM original, like this just as well as a product, better in bang-for-the-buck terms. To me, the ideal would be MoM by the quart, and a refillable dispenser, mostly to avoid the huge shipping overhead.
Also tried the MoM for men. I like the scent, but I don’t think it’s as effective as original MoM. Also doesn’t come in the larger bottle, so it’s back to the old not-so-much-bang for the buck.
