5The Guide had a lot of great information in it, including a review of the effectiveness of various brands of hair shampoos. That was very helpful. The most surprising information to me is that even a good shampoo loses effectiveness if it is used for a long period of time. The Guide advised alternating between 2 or more quality shampoos to prevent this.

I wanted to see about all the AMAZING uses for MoM, but found so many wonderful things to try for my splitting nails that I have had for years after trying B vitamins, collagen, hardeners, etc. I can’t wait to get started. 5Great info, thanks. My experience: the prescription shampoo ketoconazole will affect the texture of hair, make it brittle, gummy, and cause hair to break easily. It’s a great med for the scalp condition itself, but damages the hair shaft. Shouldn’t be used very often; should primarily contact the scalp and not the hair itself.
